Two contrasting and stirring master works – Johann Adolph Hasse’s great and once-celebrated Miserere in C Minor, and Karl Jenkins’ uplifting and theatrical Te Deum – provide powerful bookends to our major works concert with orchestra. Daniel Elder’s Three Themes of Life and Love, Benjamin Britten’s Festival Te Deum, and a special appearance by the L.D. Bell High School A Cappella Choir, round out this joyful program to close our 57th season.
